Boston Pops

Swan Boats in Boston Public Garden
(An Acrostic Poem)
Serene scene on water
Winsome swans glide
Attracting fascination
Nobly dignified

Bucolic background
Objet d'art to admire
Arcadian rhythm soothes
Tranquil cadence plays
Surreal moment mesmerizes

Illuminative waters delight
Nature beckons reflection

Botanical beauty of Boston
Old-world survives into new
Sublime recreational form
Transcends urban environment
Opalescent pond shimmers
Nostalgia flows bittersweet

Placid for a time
Untroubled by routine
Beyond scope of concerns
Limpid relaxation
Idyllic pastime
Captivating and magical

Graceful
Alluring
Resplendent
Dreamlike
Enchanting
Nonpareil

These are all just stunning. They really make me want to see all this in person! That first image is glorious. Have never seen anything like it.

One of my favorite times was watching the Boston Pops on PBS, a wonderful reminder of this beautiful city. You have captured such lovely beauty of this city in Spring. Have a fun weekend Cheryl.

What a beautiful city! It looks like Boston has kept some of it's Old World charm. The spring flowers are a beautiful color. I do really love where the succulents are placed, it looks like a place of honor. :) Wonderful images!

Thanks everyone for your visit and your lovely comments. The Boston Gardens really was a treat this spring. I never even made it over to the Boston Commons...and yes, Susan, wouldn't it be lovely is spring flowers lasted longer than just in the spring...LOL
