C...Is For Cookie

Some pleasures just need a bit of dressing up..there are not many things that I enjoy more than a French maracon...and I love all the flavors...

This weeks Be-Still lesson was to work with some typography..I thought about that for awhile and I really do not know where the idea of macarons came from but I did find myself at the French bakery buying these lovlies...and then, the light bulb moment...the letter C for cookies.  Brilliant, right?

So today I'm hooking up to Texture Tuesday and Be Still...the macarons are textured with KK carmel and then a second texture of KK desert.   Processed in LR using KK pre-set pastelhaze...and there you have it..

Now, I think I need to go get a cup of tea....

You'll definitely need more than these macaroons because if I'm there having tea with you, I could eat about this many. This is so cute, and forming a C for cookie with macaroons is so fun!! I love the bit of forsythia on the plate, with the sweet doily! Love it Cheryl...C is also for Cheryl. :-)

Beverly these were the smallest macarons I have ever seen and they were 1.50 each...yes, when you come I would certainly have to get more...the ones in St. Maarten are three times this size and less money...I'll just wait until February like I ususally do...thanks for visiting.

Sherry so glad you got a chance to try them...but if your Wingsong 111 ever makes it to St. Maarten be sure to get some of these on the French Side...they are the very best...

So beautifully displayed with the paper lace doilie, awesome, my granddaughter can't wait to get some in Paris. I would love to hear what were your favorite places and things you saw in Paris? If you could drop me an e-mail I would love to hear. Have a beautiful week Cheryl
