Fall Foliage
Fall is one of those seasons that just begs to be photographed...It's hard to pass by so many colorful scenes and not stop...this is what happened to me today...just doing my thing..driving home and then I see this gorgeous scene in front of me...At first I let it go..I did not have my "big" gear with me. I knew though, that no matter what I had to go back..Past experience has shown me, if it hits you, get it, because even if you come back in an hour that scene will have changed in ways you can't even imagine..
Do a little backing up...and backing down a drive-way...grab the point and shot...and here you have it..I didn't even notice the little water fountain until I was in the driveway...so cute. Brought it home and now I have my Texture Tuesday photo on time..just have to remember to link it up...
Remember to stop and smell the "trees" along your way...

Oh, I agree, Cheryl! Your photo is gorgeous!
Gorgeous you have to stop and take photos you will always regret it otherwise.
Wow! This photo is beautiful! Lovely texture work too!
Cheryl I am so glad you listen to your heart on this one! This is just simply stunning! Lovely soft golden colors, and that little fountain is adorable! The only trees we have turning right now are ash and tulip trees. The gorgeous maples are just beginning their show - this weekend should be fantastic with color. Hope your week is going nicely!
What an incredible scene! So glad you went back so you could photograph and share it with us.
Absolutely gorgeous.
Thank you all for stopping by. Yes, it is good to keep a cameras in the car. That way when that "beauty" pops up, you'll be ready.
Welcome Earl and Sheila. So nice to see you here.
Wonderful work on this one Cheryl. It's not the camera, it's the 12" behind it. Where have I heard that before? ;)
haha...this was a fun one to do Chris...I love a bit of adventure, especially when I'm trespassing on someone's property...but I am always very respectful. I never drive on the grass.
Stunning capture and wonderful post!
The little fountain is such a fabulous addition!
I'm thinking of hugging trees right now!
They are such wonderful metaphors for LIFE!
Happy Fall. It's my absolute favorite season of the year.
And we've been blessed with perfect weather since August!
