Some of my favorite quotes:  I have many.  I think I'll change them from time to time.
“We must go beyond textbooks, go out into the bypaths and untrodden depths of the wilderness and travel and explore and tell the world the glories of our journey.”~John Hope Franklin.
“We are all travelers in the wilderness of the world, and the best that we can find in our travels is an honest friend”  Robert Lewis Stevenson.
It matters not who you love, where you love, why you love, or how you love, it matters only that You love. ~John Lennon~
"Every dog has it's day, unless he loses his tail, and then he has a weak-end..June Carter Cash...
"Whoever said diamonds are a girls best friend, never owned a dog."
Books I love:  My other passion  I really think I should do a separate page for my books...it's hard to share all my loves here...but for now....this will have to do...

Currantly reading:
The Art of Hearing Heartbeats...by Jan-Philipp Sendker.   I have heard such good things about this book. It is really good.
I also love reading and making up Hiaku's...my son shares this passion with me and together we have many.
Here is one of mine...In the Kitchen, doing dishes, Chris's birthday.
Next on my list:
Telex From Cuba...by Rachel Kushner...Jim gave me this for my birthday..Where a girl comes of age in 1950's Cuba. The first novel to tell the story of the Americans who were driven out of Cuba in 1958. Sounds good.
Some of my favorites from before:
The Girl You Left Behind...by JoJo Moyers..so good. I wasn't sure after Me Before You..but now I would read anything she writes...a great vacation book.
Saving CeeCee HoneyCutt..a beautiful growing up story with a Ms. Margaret in it..I savored every word..
I love anything by Elizabeth Berg.
The Last Child.   Awesome mystery.
Writing Down the Bones  and The Room..
And I love magazines...My newest favorite which I devoured is Bella Grace by Stampington, lucious writing and photo's.
When I'm not photographing or reading I'm knitting...it really quiets my mind and keeps me warm.
Now if only I could become a computer wiz my world would be complete...but alas I don't see that in my future so I'll just continue to stuggle along...
I'll see you on the blog...and remember Kindness Matters...Carpe Diem
